Na noite desta quarta-feira (28), a Orquestra Ouro Preto, uma das mais renomadas do Brasil, se apresentou no Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. Ao lado do multiartista Antonio Nóbrega, a orquestra trouxe um concerto inédito. O espetáculo, intitulado “Tirando a Casaca”, contou com a presença de diversas celebridades na plateia. Entre elas as atrizes Vera Fischer, Lucy Alves, Bárbara Reis, Natasha Falcão, Raissa Xavier. O ator Emiliano D’Avila, Anselmo Nascimento, entre outros.
Sob a regência do maestro Rodrigo Toffolo, a apresentação levou o público a uma imersão nas raízes da música brasileira. Além disso, o espetáculo explorou ritmos como frevo e maracatu. O repertório homenageou a obra de Antonio Nóbrega e de compositores do Movimento Armorial. Oferecendo, nesse sentido releituras únicas de peças como Mateus Embaixador, Canjiquinha, Despedida e Tirando a Casac, unindo dança, canto e orquestração de forma magistral.
Amanhã, dia 29, a Orquestra Ouro Preto retorna ao Theatro Municipal para apresentar o concerto “The Beatles”, às 19 horas. Dessa forma, o tributo, que vêm sendo aclamado por público e crítica em todo o Brasil, combina de maneira inusitada uma formação de cordas com uma banda de rock. O que resulta em uma experiência sonora única. Os concertos são patrocinados pelo Instituto Cultural Vale, por meio da Lei Federal de Incentivo à Cultura.
