A cantora e atriz JEY anuncia seu novo single “André”, uma homenagem bem-humorada a todos os Andrés do Brasil. A faixa, que chega às plataformas no dia 23 de fevereiro, traz a participação especial de Arlindinho, somando sua voz ao samba e cheio de história.
A inspiração para a música veio de uma situação inusitada: ao criar um grupo no WhatsApp para organizar seu aniversário, JEY percebeu que havia seis amigos chamados André na lista.
A coincidência foi o ponto de partida para a composição, que exalta um amor não correspondido: “Buscava alguém do samba de raiz, nos falamos e ele super abraçou o projeto!”, conta a cantora sobre a escolha de Arlindinho.
O clipe da canção, que chega ao YouTube no dia 01 de março, promete manter a identidade de JEY, trazendo romance e uma pitada de humor, elementos que a artista adora explorar em seus vídeos.
O lançamento no período do Carnaval também tem um significado especial: “Sair em escolas de samba faz parte da minha história! Cresci vendo meu bairro inteiro na Mocidade. Estar com uma música nova nesse momento me traz de volta esse pertencimento da nossa maior referência cultural”, celebra.
Além da novidade musical, JEY já projeta um 2025 agitado. A cantora, que soma mais de 1 milhão de streams, já colaborou com nomes como LK 3030, Zezé Motta e Ângela Ro Ro. No audiovisual, estará em dois filmes: “Eu Sou a Lei”, de Miguel Rodrigues, interpretando Olívia, e a comédia “Os Emergentes”, dirigida por Hsu Chien. Enquanto isso, segue preparando mais dois lançamentos para o ano.
